May Newsletter | The Heat Is On—Stay Cool this Summer with OnStation 🧊☀️

A Note From Patrick Russo - May Newsletter for OnStation

As temperatures rise, so does the momentum at OnStation—and we’ve got a lot heating up this month (literally and figuratively).

Our Hot Weather Campaign is officially live! We’re sending hydration kits and swag out to crews in the field to help them stay safe and cool. It’s a small way we say thanks for the hard work being done on hot asphalt across the country.

Meanwhile, our team is racking up the miles again—road-tripping to jobsites and offices, helping crews level up with OnStation in real time. Want us to swing by your site? We’re happy to make the stop.

We're also excited to welcome a new wave of interns into the OnStation Intern Program, giving them a 3-month license to explore and learn in the field. Investing in the future of construction tech is something we take seriously—and we’re always blown away by the talent entering this space.

We’ve added new projects in the app, launched some fresh blog content, had a webinar explaining TransTech Systems & OnStation’s integration, and have an important event coming up— our Portal Bootcamp. If you haven’t registered yet, make it happen!

Thanks for being part of the OnStation community. Let’s keep building smart—and staying cool while we do it.

What’s New at OnStation this Summer? ⛱️

This month has been packed with momentum at OnStation! From welcoming a new wave of summer interns, to having a webinar explaining TransTech Systems & OnStation’s integration, to our hot weather care package campaign being launched, there’s been no shortage of activity—both in the field and behind the scenes.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on our “You Ask, We Answer” page, you know that we’ve been pushing out blogs to help you and your crews even more on the jobsite.

Here are our OnStation team’s top-ranked updates for this past month.

OnStation and TransTech Systems Integration Webinar

Manual data entry slows down inspections and increases the risk of errors. With the TransTech PQI 380 and PQI 380+ integration, technicians can either scan a QR code or upload data via USB to instantly transfer compaction measurements into OnStation. This flexible workflow eliminates handwritten logs, reduces transcription errors, and gives CEI teams real-time access to field data—streamlining reporting, improving accuracy, and enabling faster, more informed decisions.

If you missed the webinar on the OnStation & Transtech Systems Integration, don’t worry!

You can still watch it 👉 here.

Things Are Heating Up 🔥

Hydration, safety, and field-first care packages are heading your way.

Summer’s here—and so is the heat that comes with it. But we’ve got your back (and your hydration). Our Hot Weather Campaign is officially in motion, and we’re rolling out field-ready kits packed with the good stuff: cooling towels, electrolyte packets, water bottles, and a few surprises to help your crew stay sharp and safe when the temps rise.

We know the job doesn’t stop when it’s 90° and rising—so this is our way of saying thank you for powering through the hottest days of the year.

Want your team to get a Hot Weather Package?
Let us know where to send one—we’ll handle the rest.

Calling All Interns 📞

The field is changing. Learn how it really works.

There’s a real disconnect in our industry—a generational gap between the people who’ve built it and the ones who are just getting started.

At OnStation, we’re not ignoring it—we’re doing something about it.

The Intern Program gives students free access to OnStation, so they can learn the tools crews actually use, explore real projects, and gain confidence in the field. It’s not about giving them a demo. It’s about giving them a head start.

We believe the best way to bridge the gap is to equip the next generation—and make space for them at the table now, not later.

Know someone who should be in? Send them our way.
