June Newsletter | Summer’s Heating Up and So Is OnStation ☀️

A Note From Patrick Russo - May Newsletter for OnStation

As we hit the peak of summer, we’re not slowing down at OnStation, if anything, we’re gaining speed.

Our Hot Weather Campaign continues to roll out, and we’ve been pumped to see hydration kits and swag landing with crews across the country. If you haven’t sent in a request yet, there’s still time, we’re here to help you beat the heat.

We’re also ramping up for our Portal Bootcamp happening next week. It’s a great opportunity to explore how the Portal can support your team, and we’re excited to connect with those who are already signed up. Haven’t grabbed your spot? There’s still time to register!

In addition, interns have been learning the ropes with OnStation, new projects are being released, and we have a growing team helping us expand our impact. Our You Ask, We Answer series keeps growing and thanks to your questions, we’re building even better resources for the road.

We’ve got big things ahead, and it all starts with listening to our users in the field.

Thanks for being part of the journey, let’s keep moving forward together. Check out what’s new below and stay safe out there!

We Are Now Members of the Esri Partner Network!

We’re excited to share that OnStation is now an official member of the Esri Partner Network! This partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting seamless data workflows between GIS and the field. While GIS tools are essential for planning, mapping, and long-term asset management, OnStation is designed for the day-to-day realities of construction. That’s where digital stationing comes in, capturing real-time field data (such as photos, notes, and test results) directly tied to project stationing.

Together, GIS and digital stationing provide a more comprehensive view of your projects. OnStation provides crews with an easy, station-based method for documenting field activities, while Esri tools enable the visualization and analysis of that data throughout the project's full lifecycle. The result? Better alignment between teams, less manual rework, and more accurate information from boots-on-the-ground to big-picture planning.

Beat the Heat 🔥

OnStation is keeping your crew cool, safe, and hydrated.

Summer’s in full swing and so is the heat. We know your crews don’t get to slow down when the temperature climbs, so we’re here to help them power through safely.

Our Hot Weather Campaign is back! We’re sending out hydration kits and swag to help your team stay sharp, hydrated, and safe on the hottest days of the summer.

This is our way of saying thanks for everything you do out there, no matter the weather.

Want a hydration kit for your team? Just tell us where to send it and we’ll take care of the rest. 👇

From the Classroom to the Construction Zone

Give interns the tools they’ll actually use on site.

The next generation of heavy highway professionals is already here. But too often, they’re handed clipboards instead of tools that actually matter in the field.

That’s where we step in.

OnStation’s Intern Program is built to help students do more than observe. We give them free access to the same location tools used on live projects, so they can learn the ropes, speak the language, and build real confidence before graduation.

It’s not just exposure, it’s experience.

Because if we want tomorrow’s crews to succeed, we need to start training them like they’re already part of the team.

Know an intern who should be using OnStation? Send them our way.
